We divide Hospital waste into two : Infectious and non infectious and handling of items is as below:

Infectious Non Sharp Laboratory Waste Specimen Blood and Body Fluids Specimen - microwave, culture - autoclave -general waste  
Infectious Non Sharp Laboratory Waste Pathology Tissues, animal Carcas, etc. pathological tissue formaline - incineration, animal carcas - incineration  
Non infectious Kitchen Waste General kitchen wares Dispose off in black bags - 1) biodegradable, 2) non-biodegradable  
Non infectious Other / Offices Card board, papaers, boxes Collect in big boxes or bags - for selling to raddiwala or to scrap dealer
